Jordi Granger was born in the Dominican Republic and was raised in Orange Park, a town outside Jacksonville, Florida. She married her high school sweetheart Ed Granger in 2002 and right away started her 15-year career playing football in the WFA and the USWFL (Women Football League). After retirement, Jordi and her husband Ed moved to Savannah to be close to family.

Jordi is now celebrating 20 years married and is a proud aunt of to eight amazing nephews. In her spare time, Jordi coaches little league baseball and volunteers for various nonprofits. Jordi is an ambassador for the City Savannah Chamber. She also serves as a board chair and member of Migrant Equity South Georgia, an organization that advocates for immigrant rights and works directly with the refugee communities of South Georgia.
